I am a travel agent planning in 2011 to put cyclists and THEIR OWN bikes onboard Fred Olsen cruise ships from the UK to Norway. Looking for clubs that can identify routes and maybe meet my guys in each port of call eg. Bergen, Olden, Alesund, Flam, Gudvangen, Sandane.
Something for the road guys and offroad trails for the mountainbike guys.

Planning solo bike/kayak trip in Norway. I have a 2 seat fold-boat kayak (klepper company) which will be placed in trailer and pulled by the bike (also foldable) To cross the fjords I will put together the kayak, store bike inside. and paddle or sail across.
I figure excess baggage to be around 500 US$ each way. I am thinking of purchasing a mountain bike in Norway if it would save me money. Any ideas?

Hello, how much are more or less the average accomodation fees troughout the routes for one night in hostels, etc?
Can one just spend the night in a tent anywhere in the open air in Norway without being fined?

Heisann! Har tenkt meg over fjellet (rallarvegen) i sommer, så jeg har jo god tid til å planlegge. Men jeg lurte på om det er noen spesielle regler i henhold til å sette opp telt etc langs vegene. På jorder og sånn er det vel privatretslige regler som gjelder ville jeg tro?
